Mumuíla photograph exhibited in Macau

The photo was considered as an artwork that represents the communication in Portuguese language

The Association of Communication in Portuguese Language (Somos - ACLP) inaugurates today in Macauthe collective photographic exhibition "Somos Imagens da Lusofonia 2018"

In the exhibition "We are Images of Lusophony 2018 - Lusophone Roots: Vehicles of Communication", Francisco Keth represents Angola with the portrait "Dialogue - Mumuíla Woman". The exhibition continues until the 15th, at the Albergue da Santa Casa da Misericórdia in Macau, and is the result of a photography competition organized by Somos - ACLP, last December.
The exhibition includes a total of 40 photographs, among the winning artworks, as well as the honorable mentions and other images that the jury considered relevant for promoting communication in Portuguese language and the dissemination of Lusophone traditions and customs.
The panel selected "Dialogue - Mumuíla Woman", by Francisco Keth, to be part of the exhibition, considering that the work represents the communication in Portuguese language and the dissemination of Lusophone traditions and customs.
The exhibition "We are Images of Lusophony 2018 - Lusophone Roots: Communication Vehicles" is curated by the photographer António Mil-Homens. After the opening ceremony, there will be a cultural moment with DJ Set.
The photo contest was open to all citizens of Lusophone countries and regions and residents of Macau, with photographs taken at any of these locations: Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde, Guinea Bissau, Macau, Mozambique, Portugal, Sao Tome and Principe, Timor-Leste or Goa, Daman and Diu.
