Banksy's mural stolen from Bataclan

The work was stolen from Le Bataclan in Paris

A mural painted by British street artist Banksy - a tribute to the victims of the November 2015 Bataclan attacks in Paris - has been stolen.

The mural depicting a girl with a veil covering her face was painted in June 2018 at the Bataclan emergency exit door. But this weekend the Bataclan team took to Twitter to announce its "deep sense of indignation" over the disappearance of a work of art that "belonged to everyone, neighbors, Parisians, citizens of the world."

The mural was painted on an emergency exit door of the Bataclan, used by many people to flee a terror attack on November 13, 2015, in which a group of Daesh militants killed 130 people during an Eagles of Death Metal concert.
