Belo Horizonte to host unprecedented exhibition on Botticelli

Casa Fiat de Cultura, in Belo Horizonte (MG), will receive between May 5 and July 12, 2020 an unprecedented and free exhibition dedicated to the Italian Renaissance genius Sandro Botticelli (1445-1510).

Named " Botticelli and his times at Casa Fiat de Cultura", the exhibition is curated by Italian historian Alessandro Cecchi, one of the most important artist's scholars in the world.

The exhibition will display 21 works by Botticelli and his masters, such as Antonio Pollaiuolo, Andrea del Verrocchio and Filippo Lippi, and will focus on the genius formation phase and the stylistic changes in his work.
