The "Little America" series, from the streaming service Apple TV +, has been banned in 11 countries for containing a gay refugee character, according to production co-writer Amrou Al-Kadhi.

"This is the harsh reality of doing queer Arab work. Trump banishment made us film this outside of America. And now our episode of 'Little America' has been banned in 11 countries. We"re very sorry about that - please know that we"re working hard to find a way to get it to you", said Al-Kadhi on his Twitter profile. According to the American portal Advocate, the ban took place in ten Arab countries and Russia.
