Portugal, Brazil and Angola unite to celebrate 470 years of Salvador

Salvador was the first capital of Brazil and it will be 470 years old on March 29.

The Festival of the Portuguese Language (Felpo) is in Salvador in a partnership between the City Council and the Global Media Group, a Portuguese communication group, through Radio TSF, to celebrate the city's anniversary. The event, which is a part of the City Festival, celebrates the language through a cultural mix of three countries: Angola, Brazil and Portugal.

On the 29th, the anniversary of the city, the Barra Lighthouse will be the stage for the International Concert for 470 years of Salvador. An unprecedented show, specially produced for this date and with free admission. In total, nine singers will take the stage, starting at 7:00 pm: Daniela Mercury, Saulo, António Zambujo, Ana Moura, Paulo Flores, Magary Lord, Márcia Freire, Carla Cristina and Márcia Short.
