In his latest hit, the Kenyan rapper mentions the names of politicians involved in corruption scandals in the country and criticizes people for voting for them. The singer has received threats
Kenyan rapper King Kaka has launched a major debate in the country over his latest song, which has already become a hit. The song, titled "Wajinga Nyinyi" ("You Are Fools"), mentions the names of several corrupt political leaders and criticizes the electorate for voting in them.
Since the release of the song King Kaka has been receiving alleged death threats. On Twitter, the artist appealed to fans to pray for him.
King Kaka's lyrics, and the latter is no exception, are critical of Kenya's poor state of education, health and safety.
Some more out-of-system politicians have praised the rapper's last song and also called on Kenyans to put their hands on their consciences and evaluate the leaders they elected.
