Festival in Minas Gerais features meeting of generations and tributes to Brumadinho and Marielle

The 7th edition of the Planeta Brasil festival in Belo Horizonte featured a meeting of generations on the stages of Mineirão this Saturday (Jan 26)

According to the organizers, the festival was attended by 37,000 people in a festive atmosphere, with tributes to Brumadinho and Marielle and a debate on current political issues such as the threats to MP Jean Willys.

Milton Nascimento was one of the highlights of the event. At the age of 76, Bituca, as he is also known, was joined on stage by 43-year-old rapper Criolo.
