An old, dirty bathroom, full of drawings on the wall and a graffiti: The Rolling Stones. This was the scene that Mick, Keith, Brian, Bill and Charlie wanted for the cover of their eighth album. The publisher did not like the picture, and the album went to the stores with a blank cover. But the band, which was still looking for an identity, did not dump the idea.
The album, which now celebrates five decades, is called Beggars Banquet and the critics considered it decisive to format the current Rolling Stones.
