Kimi Djabaté and Paulo Flores. The Guinean musician opens this Saturday, June 23rd, the African Stage of Rock in Rio Lisboa, while the Angolan singer ends the performances, on June 30th. Plataforma also spoke with the stage curator, Paula Nascimento, in a preview of the four days of performances exploring the diversity of African sounds.

Daughter of Tia Eulália, matriarch of the Rio de Janeiro samba school, Dona Leda - now 85 years old - is a living memory of the first decades of samba.
