Hundreds of Margaret Atwood's British and US fans lined up from midnight on Monday to be the first to buy the sequel to her dystopian bestselling novel "The Handmaid's Tale" - one of most eagerly anticipated cultural events of the year.

"The Testaments" has made the final list of one of the world's most prestigious book awards even before its debut on Tuesday in London, which is due to be broadcasted in 100 theaters around the world.
