There is a vacuum of nominations for women in middle age, but after 70, they may be grandmothers or asexual bitter aunts

Upon receiving her Golden Globe award in January, actress Renée Zellweger thanked everyone for inviting her to the family reunion again and said it was good to be back.

It was in 2004 that she had last held the globe, awarded as best supporting actress for "Cold Mountain". That year she also won her first, and only - at least for now - Oscar.
