Netflix gets a bad result and the 'Irishman' loses to '1917'

The Golden Globe ceremony, held on Sunday at the Hilton Beverly Hills in Los Angeles, promised to make Netflix the champion of home cinema.

With 17 nominations in the film categories and an epic directed by none other than Martin Scorsese - "The Irishman" -, the platform had still the solid "The Two Popes", "Marriage Story" and "Dolemite Is My Name" competing for a prize. In the best drama movie category, there were three chances against two.
