Warner Bros. grosses 12.8 million euros in Portugal.

2018 was the best year ever for Warner Bros. Pictures in Portugal, with gross film revenues reaching 12.8 million euros, breaking the previous record of 12.5 million obtained in 2010.

Represented in Portugal by NOS Audiovisuais, in 2018, the studio premiered box office hits such as 'The Nun', 'A Star Is Born', 'Aquaman' and 'Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald'.

Films still showing in Portugal include 'Aquaman', whose worldwide revenue amounts to 1 billion dollars, with a national contribution of approximately 1.9 million euros, and "A Star is Born", which grossed nearly 2 million euros.

Every year, Warner Bros. Pictures premieres some of the world's major film successes. In 2019, highlight goes to Clint Eastwood's 'The Mule' (premiere on 31 January), 'LEGO Movie 2' (premiere on 28 February), 'Shazam!' (premiere in April), 'Pokémon: Detective Pikachu' (premiere in May), 'Annabelle 3' (premiere in July), 'IT: Chapter 2' (premiere in September) and 'Joker' (premiere in October).
