"Lúcia in Heaven with Semaphores", a film produced by the Angolans Ery Claver and Gretel Marin, will be shown at the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival 2019, which will take place from 1 to 9 February in Auvergne, France. Sources close to the filmmakers said the film will be shown at the "African Perspectives" section every day during the festival. The film shows how the two professionals captured the silent report of a dispassionate young woman.
A woman with no voice and a distant gaze that suppresses screams and outbursts, but silenced by the sexist society that builds her without the right to be, to think or to express opinions. In this festival, Ery Claver will join the group of professionals from around the world specially invited to interact in debates and forums that will be organized in parallel.
