"Air Conditioning", by Angolan director Fradique, competes for the Audience Award and Pipresci Award from the Rotterdam International Film Festival, in the Netherlands.
The film "Air Conditioning" is selected in the Bright Future category, which distinguishes emerging talents and will have a world premiere during the festival, which will run until February 2, on Friday, January 24, reveals Angop.
The feature film by Angolan director Fradique tells the story of guard Matacedo and maid Zezinha, who work in the same building, in central Luanda, where air conditioners mysteriously begin to fall. The two protagonists are responsible for recovering the chief's appliances.
The film will have its premiere in Angola during the month of April and, in addition to its presence in Rotterdam, it will also be shown at the Redsea Film Festival in Saudi Arabia, at the Friborg International Film Festival in Switzerland and at the International Film Festival from Innsbruck, Austria.
